Hair Care

People who have straight want curly, and those with curly want straight.  I have very thick dirty blonde curly hair.  When I was little, I always wished for it to be straight so that it would not be such a pain to deal with. Now, I actually realize how lucky I am to have thick healthy hair, even if it means having frizz issues, and not being able to wear it down all the time.  My hair is layered a bit to make it seem less thick, and also a tiny bit shorter it the front but I still do have frizz problems.  I really enjoy Body Shop hair products because of the high quality, but especially because they are not tested on animals and most of the bottles are made from recycled plastic. These are the products I use.

Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner (also I alternate and use Ginger Shampoo sometimes)
This shampoo and conditioner leave my hair super soft and manageable. They are really good for dry or damaged hair. When I started using this I was a bit skeptical because I thought the banana scent would be overwhelming, but it actually is not at all. It smells sweet and fruity but is not as strong as the actual fruit would be. I do not shampoo my hair every time I bathe, it washes away the natural oils in your hair and leaves it dry and frizzy. I really love this shampoo and conditioner because it smells amazing and makes it really easy to brush. (Image Source)

Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum
I use this in wet hair to detangle it and make it easier to brush. It leaves your hair super shiny and smells amazing. (Image Source)

Body Shop Brazil Nut Define & No-Frizz Conditioning Cream
This is really good on dry hair for frizz control and keeping hair in place. This product also smells so good, and makes you want to use up the whole bottle right away. (Image Source)

Body Shop Cottonseed Curl Boost
This adds a bit more curl and defines the existing curls, making them more bouncy and shiny. (Image Source)
